These are cast from 100 % raw brass that is made to last. Like with any piercing regular cleaning is recommended.

All my brass is uncoated and un treated (no forever chemicals) However because of this, the brass oxidation process can be sped up by certain factors such as acids and salt.
Brass does age and oxidize with moisture & time, as it is comprised of copper & zinc, it can be polished if a brighter rejuvenated look is desired. Or allowed to evolve and Age gracefully.
