Gathering Place's Antarctic Pure Sea Salt comes from the Antarctic Ocean, where cold waters are filtered through ancient seashell beds and sand into a rare saltwater aquifer off the coast of South Africa. This salt is rich in 82 trace minerals, including high levels of magnesium and calcium—far more than most sea salts. It is also free from microplastics and heavy metals, with very low lead levels, making it one of the safest sea salts in the world.
